Meet Our Therapists
Ashlee is a state licensed and nationally certified Pediatric Occupational Therapist who has been practicing in the South-Dade area for over ten years. Ashlee graduated from Florida International University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Services Administration in 2007 and went onto to receive her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009. Most recently in 2020, Ashlee graduated with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Types of treatment techniques utilized during therapy sessions include: Neurodevelomental Treatment Techniques, Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Use of Self; Constraint Induced Therapy; and Multi-Sensory Environments. Ashlee has lengthy experience with ordering of durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, standers, bath chairs, beds, and other adaptive equipment.
Deborah is a state licensed and nationally certified Pediatric Physical Therapist who has over 13 years of experience working with children. Deborah earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in Brazil at Pontificial Catholic University of Minas Gerais. Since moving to Miami in 2006, Deborah received several certifications including NDT and Bobath Concept Neurodevelopment for Infants Certification. Deborah has completed extensive coursework including: Clinical Evaluation and Intervention on Children with Neural Dysfunction; Infants Born Preterm; and Special Needs in Early Infancy to Support Development. Deborah is fluent in Portuguese and loves representing her home country of Brazil. She is also an active member of the APTA and NDTA.
